"Bury me when I die beneath a wine barrel in a tavern. With luck the cask will leak."

This poster captures the idea of a disruptive kind of independence. I've been describing it as 'breaking away' from the mainstream. Leaving behind conventional attitudes and ways of thinking. It is made up of vertical bars forming a circle, representing life and its inherent cycles. Disturbing the balance of the poster is one drop, a rivulet, flowing away from the rest.

'My Way' Movie Poster - Digitised Drawing

This poster is a thematic continuation of the first. It represents The same core themes discussed in blog posts - Death (as an underlying theme), Nonchalance or lightness of spirit, and Independence.  The idea of being different, living and thinking in ways that defy convention, is personified by the figure running free, disappearing in the wind. I chose that imagery to show an unbarred approach to living and dying.

The crowd represent the overbearing burden of norms and conventions. The title 'My Way' is a continuation of the independence and nonchalance themes, as though to literally say "I can chose how I live and how I die. If I like, I can choose not to care."

'Living Different' Storyboard - Photography

If casks of wine may leak their prize onto the dead, then what is the cask of life but changing circumstance?

Everyone lives under their own yoke, everything is a tradeoff, but the more you shed the constraints you find yourself under,

the more you can grow and change.
